Porcelain and ceramic tile set flat, cut clean around the toilet and vanity, grouted, and sealed. A sound floor underneath is what keeps new tile from cracking, so we check it first.
Lighting, Mirrors, and Exhaust Fans
New vanity lights and a bathroom fan that actually moves the damp air outside. Anything that needs new wiring goes through a licensed electrician we bring in.

Plenty of Florida baths are sound underneath and just look worn out. A few new pieces and fresh paint can make a guest bath feel new, and the layout stays where it is. For a small bathroom remodel, that is often the smartest place to spend the money.
Bathroom vanity installation is some of the most common bathroom work we do. We set the new vanity level and hook it up to the water lines already there, then test it for leaks. If you already bought the vanity, that is no trouble at all. We will install the one you picked.

A Shower Rebuilt to Stay Dry Behind the Tile
Grout is not waterproof, and that surprises a lot of people. What keeps water out of your walls is the layer behind the tile. When an old shower leaks, has loose tile, or shows a soft spot, that hidden layer has usually failed.
In a shower remodel we take it down to the studs and replace any bad backer or framing. Then the whole wall gets waterproofed before the first tile goes up. The parts you will see every day are planned with you, including slip resistant floor tile for safety. We would be glad to help you select each one.

We measure the room and listen to what you want changed. The layout and every material choice get settled up front. Take your time here, so nobody picks materials in a rush later. Everything lands in one written scope with one price.

Order early
Materials get ordered before demo starts, because one backordered faucet can stall a whole bathroom. If you are buying some pieces yourself, just tell us which ones. Keep in mind that the tile you love may need a little time to arrive.

Demo, and a look at what the walls were hiding
The old room comes out, down to the studs where the scope calls for it. We check the framing and the pipes while the walls are open. Anything unexpected is shown to you and priced in writing before we touch it.

Trades, then waterproofing
Plumbing and electrical changes happen while the walls are open, done by licensed trades we schedule for you. Then moisture-rated backer and waterproofing go on every wet wall.

Tile, fixtures, and finish
Tile goes up first, and the fixtures follow. Shower glass is measured off the finished tile, so it fits the opening that is really there. Grout gets sealed and the walls get painted.

Florida humidity decides how a bathroom ages
Florida air is damp before anyone turns on the shower, and in our experience that decides the quality of a bathroom remodeling job more than the tile does. Steam that would clear out of a northern bathroom hangs around here, so ventilation is not an extra on our jobs. A bathroom fan should push the damp air outdoors, not just into the attic. Run it through the shower and for a while after, and the paint and grout will thank you.
The details you cannot see matter just as much. We put moisture-rated backer behind wet walls and seal every joint where tile meets tub or floor, so water has nowhere to sit. Skip those steps in this climate, and the bathroom shows it before long. Ours are built for the air they live in.
What Moves a Bathroom Remodel Estimate

How much of the room changes
A new vanity and light in the same spot is a very different job from gutting the room to the studs. We will price the version you asked for, and tell you honestly if a smaller job would get you most of the way.
Whether the plumbing moves
Keeping the fixtures in the same location keeps the project simpler and the cost down. Moving any of them is possible. It is the biggest single change in this room, so we will price both versions if you are torn.
The tile and how it is laid
Large tile covers a wall quickly. Small mosaics and patterns take more cuts and more hours. The shape of the room matters too. None of them is wrong, and we will show you where the extra labor is worth it.
What is behind the old tile

Almost everyone does. The bathroom we are working on is out of service, and we keep the work area closed off and cleaned up each day, so the rest of the house stays happy and livable. If it is the only bathroom in the house, tell us up front, and we will plan the order of the work around that.
